Corn with Grill Mate's Smokehouse Maple Butter

(originally made 8/2013)

When corn is in season, I don't normally like to do much to it.    But with the horrible weather we've had this year, I've gotten some corn that's good, but not great.    I participated in a survey and got to try McCormick's Grill Mate seasonings and ran across this recipe on their website.     Skipped the chipotle because my family doesn't like spicy.    I had no softened butter, so ended up nuking the ingredients in a glass measuring cup and stirring it.     Make sure you use real syrup and not 'pancake syrup' for this one.

Not the best photo, it was overcast and I was hungry!
