Time to make the (mini) Donuts!

(originally made 1/2011)

Coffee's on and breakfast is served!   My sister got me these mini donut pans for Christmas

http://www.amazon.com/Norpro-3980-12-Count-Nonstick-Donut/dp/B0000DDVVL/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1294588672&sr=8-1

and Jake and I gave them a trial run this morning.    The batter goes together very quickly, and to make filling the pans super easy, put it into a ziploc or pastry bag and pipe it in.    I got  40 minis in all, and we did 3 types- cinnamon sugar, dipped in a powdered sugar glaze and chocolate (melted chips) with sprinkles.

Will definitely be experimenting more with these pans, I've got recipes for blueberry, apple cider and chocolate donuts filed away   :)
