Bacon wrapped Asparagus

(originally made 6/2011)

Had some gorgeous asparagus from the farm and couldn't wait to give this recipe a try!   I highly recommend soaking the toothpicks, I remembered it halfway through and the ones I didn't soak burnt.   This was fast and so good.    I was hoping to entice Jake into trying asparagus because he's a huge fan of bacon but he wasn't going for it.   More for me  :)     Will definitely make this one again, thank you so to Patricia Kitts and TOH for the recipe!

Awful pic, they tasted much better than they looked  :)
