Mom's Meatball Recipe

(My mom only cooks a few things, and this recipe for meatballs is one of my favorites.   They freeze great)

Mom's Meatball Recipe

2 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground pork
2 tablespoons parsley
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
dehydrated onion -- to taste
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1/2 cup red wine

Mix all ingredients except red wine together. Shape into balls, about 36. Brown in electric or regular frying pan. Add red wine. Cover and simmer for 30 to 60 mins. Remove meatballs with slotted spoon to crockpot. Add 1 jar spaghetti sauce. Heat through for several hours.
