Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

This one's a family favorite, made often-


Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

1 1/3 cups flour
3/4 cup oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg -- beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups blueberries

Spray or line 12 muffin cups. Stir together flour, oats, bp, bs, and salt. Make well in center. Combine egg, milk, sugar, oil and vanilla. Add all at once to well. Stir just until moistened. Fold berries into batter. Spoon into cups, filling until level. Sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 minutes. Cool in tin 5 minutes, remove to rack to cool completely.
