Spiced Cranberry Sauce

Ok, burnt my tongue because I couldn't wait to taste test, but YUM! This is real good, definitely will make again :) I bought 5 bags of cranberries last year when they were 25 cents each and threw them in the freezer. We've been using one as an ice pack, decided to try them in something to eat LOL

Spiced Cranberry Sauce- Cooking Light

1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Dash of ground nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes or until cranberries pop, stirring occasionally. Spoon into a bowl; cover and chill.

2 1/2 cups (serving size: 1/4 cup)
